Still tight, with an energetic core of white peach, creamed pineapple, persimmon and white ginger flavors. The backdrop of orange blossom and singed almond notes adds extra dimension on the finish. This will go a long way in the cellar. Best from 2016 through 2035. 4,025 cases made.?-- JM (03/2014)
Tasted blind at the Sauternes 2011 horizontal tasting. The Ch?teau Climens 2011 has one of the most potent aromatics of the flight with expressive honey, fig, barley sugar and grilled almond nose that is reminiscent of Ch?teau Doisy-V?drines. The palate is very well balanced with fine acidity, layers of honey fruit tinged with white chocolate and quince. It fans out toward the unctuous finish that feels long, persistent and satisfying. Climens often takes a few years to shows its true class and this will be no different. - eRobertParker.com, NM (2/2015)
