The Sonoma County Barrel Auction (SCBA), hosted annually by the Sonoma County Vintners, is an exclusive trade-only event that showcases the region’s finest winemaking talent through one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen wines. Launched in 2015, the auction was created to celebrate Sonoma County’s rich diversity of terroirs and the innovative spirit of its vintners. Each lot, known as a “Never Before, Never Again” wine, is crafted specifically for the event, offering collectors and trade buyers the chance to acquire unique, limited-production wines straight from the barrel. The SCBA not only highlights the exceptional quality of Sonoma County wines but also supports the Sonoma County Vintners’ mission to promote and protect the region’s world-class wine industry.
