The La Falaise is medium to dark ruby-colored, and offers super-sweet cherry, kirsch, and spice aromas. Crafted predominantly from Syrah, with some Grenache and Mourvedre in the blend, and aged entirely in new oak barrels, this highly concentrated wine offers an extraordinarily syrupy texture. Inky black fruits and cassis liqueur can be found throughout its powerful personality and extensive finish. Projected maturity: 2002-2008. RP
